# Patient experiences

> A clinic's booking site, an agent that guides patients and books their visits, and the records they keep, built on Eka.

You build what the patient sees. A clinic's website books appointments into its Eka EMR. A patient-facing agent answers questions, guides the patient to the right care and books the visit. The patient's reports and records are stored and shared from one place. Five Eka products sit behind these.

## What you build with

> **[Agents](https://developer.eka.care/docs/products/agents.md)**
>
> Build the patient's agent with the Echo Agent Kit, or embed MedAssist as it is.

> **[EMR](https://developer.eka.care/docs/emr/appointments.md)**
>
> Finds open slots, books the appointment and sends reminders.

> **[Billing](https://developer.eka.care/docs/billing/payments.md)**
>
> Records the payment for the consultation, with a receipt ID.

> **[Health Records](https://developer.eka.care/docs/health-records/read-documents.md)**
>
> Lists and retrieves the patient's documents and records.

> **[Models](https://developer.eka.care/docs/get-started/whats-possible/health-assessment.md)**
>
> Runs an AI health quiz in your app, built with four function calls.

## How they fit together

**1. Start the conversation**

Embed [MedAssist](https://developer.eka.care/docs/agents/medassist.md) in your app, or build an agent with the [Echo Agent Kit quickstart](https://developer.eka.care/docs/agents/agent-kit/quickstart.md).

**2. Book the visit**

The agent books a slot through [appointments](https://developer.eka.care/docs/emr/appointments.md). The [appointments recipe](https://developer.eka.care/docs/get-started/whats-possible/appointment-management.md) builds the booking screen end to end.

**3. Take the payment**

Record the [payment](https://developer.eka.care/docs/billing/payments.md) for the consultation, in full or in parts.

**4. Remind and follow up**

Send the reminder with the [notify API](https://developer.eka.care/api-sdk/emr/notify/notify.md) before the visit.

**5. Give the patient their records**

Build a personal health record app that pulls the patient's records from every hospital, with the [PHR app flows](https://developer.eka.care/docs/hie-cm/phr/overview).

**6. Share reports and assessments**

Show the patient's [records](https://developer.eka.care/docs/health-records/read-documents.md), and run a [health quiz](https://developer.eka.care/docs/get-started/whats-possible/health-assessment.md) between visits.
