# Update Room

### Overview

This API updates an existing **IPD room** of your workspace. It is a partial update: only the fields sent in the request body are changed, and fields that are omitted keep their current value. Send `category` to move the room to another category.

Returns `400` with `Room not found` when the `room_id` does not exist or belongs to another workspace.
